Warehouse Casual

Vine Apparel are looking for a few superstars to help in our warehouse, primarily with stock throughout the month of October.

These Casual positions are for our morning shift Monday to Friday 7am-2:30pm in our Cromer warehouse, and you must be available for all shifts.

The role will include:

  • Unpacking, counting, and dispensing stock as it arrives
  • Replenishing stock on picking shelves
  • Ensuring counts are accurate
  • Entering new stock into our WMS, creating barcodes, and applying to correct stock
  • Picking and packing orders with attention to detail and speed
  • We are looking for people to start as soon as possible.

The right applicant must be fit, able to work quickly and efficiently, have good attention to detail, a good attitude and enjoy being busy. Ideally previous experience would be great, but not essential.

Operation and HR Superstar

Vine Apparel are looking for a superstar to join our team! This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing, dynamic, Northern Beaches based team.

We are seeking an Operation and HR Superstar to assist with the management of our team and the general operations. This is a newly created role, ideally suited to a someone who is passionate about developing their career with a whatever it takes attitude.

This role will operate on a full-time basis working five days a week, based in our warehouse in Cromer. 

Start date: Immediate.

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage the day-to-day operation of the warehouse and team through the operational team leaders.
  • Identify and address problems and opportunities for the warehouse.
  • Provide inspired leadership for the warehouse staff.
  • Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale.
  • Manage, motivate, train, and continually develop the warehouse and retail teams.
  • Manage the maintenance of equipment (forklift, pallet jacks, trolleys etc.) ensuring they always remain in good condition.
  • Ensure the highest operational standards are always deployed - including ensuring WHS procedures are followed, and risk assessments are done regularly.
  • Oversee and monitor stock movement, advising management if there are slow moving lines, lines running low on stock or out of stock in order to keep stock moving and reduce dead stock lines.
  • Assist in carrying out regular stock takes and report on results.
  • Work alongside the General Manager to ensure the warehouse is compliant with current Health and Safety regulations and that the warehouse team is trained appropriately.
  • Offer suggestions for possible upgrades and changes that will make the business more effective and efficient, in all areas.
  • Assist with roster management. 
  • Assist with HR documentation including preparation of HR letters and employment contracts.
  • Assist in managing employee related events such as birthdays, festivals, and other social events.

Skills: 

  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Willingness to learn and follow procedures.
  • Able to work in a friendly team environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail is imperative.

Part-Time - Retail Assistant

Vine Apparel are looking for someone who would like to work part time in our Cromer Retail Store. You will need to have weekend and weekday availability, the hours are Monday-Friday 9-5, Saturday 9-4:30 & Sunday 10-3.

You will need to be available to work a minimum of 3 days a week, with one weekend day every fortnight at a minimum.
